But yes, Tiana is an excellent character. Not my favorite, but she's up there! Plus I just really love the name Tiana.

Well, considering that that's one of Charlotte's dresses, maybe the dress is intentionally (both in universe and out) a "Cinderella" dress? It'd be just like Charlotte, IMO.

It's my headcanon that Charlotte has had the dresses of all the Disney princess's (either identically, or in a "this looks really close to that dress" kind of way) over her whole life, the Cinderella dress was just the latest. I just think it fits her, you know?
