I love it when people get into comics and enjoy them. I think it's great if they ship characters in the comics. But if they get into the comics just to ship characters and ignore all the backstory and everything else going on and just cherrypick out moments for their ship then that bothers me. They're missing so much great stuff!

i feel i have no place to judge people cherrypinking moments for shipping reasons when i do it just so i can continue to enjoy certain characters.

yes, i know how ellis wrote colossus. no, i don't read piotr as an abusive jerkface. i reject this story, it didn't happen in my reality, bye.
