I wouldn't go as far as to say people do this. Just that I have and I'm probably definitely not the only person to realize it's less work to lower expectations than to actually meet them.

...How would that even work. Are you asking someone to deanon to save you from people half-jokingly teasing you about being the OP of one secret in one single thread? Because I'm not sure anyone is going to take an anon comment as proof you're not the OP. Especially after you made it this clear you don't want people to think you're the OP.

eta: also could anyone confirm they care about this half as much as stella down does? Because I hadn't given my comment about you possibly being OP a second thought until this just made it hilarious and prompted me to go back to the thread for another read.

omg I'm the OP and it was very much a troll secret. I actually am a woman getting into comics for shipping purposes (okay, story lines too, but mostly shipping).
