Just creating an account won't do anything, but if you comment enough you'll eventually be recognized and people who like/dislike what you have to say are more likely to comment back.

I like being anon myself, but being unanon has its benefits too. I'd say give it a shot and comment with an account for a week or two and see how you feel about it afterwords.
