Re: Do dog booties work for anyone?

I have some for my dog (Ruffwear) and they fit well but one boot would always fall off. After a couple times I watched to figure out what it was and she was not picking her feet up all the way so she'd sort of scuff one boot and it would slowly get pushed down and off. Maybe your dog is doing something similar?

I've heard people saying getting doggy socks to go with the boots sometimes makes the fit more secure, but I have no idea if that actually works.

Here's a pic of my dog with her shoes:

She has the ankle boot type, and I think if I had gotten the style that goes further up the leg I wouldn't have had the slipping off problem. But she needed them for desert walking so I thought these might be the cooler (temperture wise) option.

After her initial omg feet where are my feet phase she didn't seem like she was dragging her feet or anything. I might look into the longer style.

Ha, she's cute.
