It's not old school though. This show still has a HUGE fandom, and it's still a big deal to the people in the fandom.

It might still be around but it's not as much as a power house it once was.

More to the point though... Inuyasha is old. Therefore, old school wank. Even if people still care about it now, it started a long time ago. At least, that's my thinking.
