I'd happily provide that context, y'know just to be an ass, but I haven't actually seen the movie so I can only assume that Loki is crushed to death in a fangirl stampede after crashing into a comic-con cosplay spectacular and revives on his own after being threatened with the kiss of life from a guy with a massive mustache and wearing a Sailor Mercury costume and who claims to be the one true love.
