Psych, neuro, anything along that line? I know police intake it is suggested to cut back on online accounts with your real name.

Just don't say what your job is and keep the meets casual, or are you worried about meeting your own clients/patients by accident? :s

Maybe it's more that they don't want their RL name connected to their online handle(s) and if you meet someone IRL, you usually exchange real names eventually.
