Yeah, like just a "I'd rather not say/talk about it" if some one asks. Or yeah the vague thing, like if it's a medical-related job just say you work in the medical field. They don't need to know more than that.

IDK I just think it's super weird that your job doesn't "allow" you to meet friends online. How is it different from meeting friends at, like, a bar? I get that you can't share personal info all over the place online but you don't need to do that just to meet up somewhere.
