6. I can relate, although I don't write fanfiction anymore. I know my writing isn't wonderful, and I don't want to be told "omg it's great!" I want to be told what exactly is wrong with it and hopefully get suggestions on how to fix it. Too few people seem willing to oblige, though.

26. I wrote a paper about Clover once. Definitely one of the most fun papers I've ever written. (This was also the class where I got to write a paper on my thoughts on yaoi... well, on BL manga, actually. Man, I loved that class.) I, uh, sort of hope you pay more attention to your grammar when actually writing papers than you did in this secret, though. Or that your first language isn't English and the paper will be written in whatever your first language is. Otherwise your grade may not be quite as good as you hope.

Aww, thanks. Really I'm just a nerd who's lucky enough to go to a college that offered a class on graphic novels, which included a unit on manga.

And that's okay, I just get nitpicky about grammar sometimes. I probably shouldn't have said that, really.

Anyway, good luck on your paper, when you finally get to write it. I hope you have as much fun as I did with mine.

Aha, I do have it! Here.

... It's, uh, not that great, though. Very dry and academic, by necessity, and all about the artistic style, rather than the story. Most of the fun came from "lol I'm writing about CLAMP manga as if it's a Serious Work of Art, this is awesome." So if you fall asleep reading about the importance of the page layout and how it contributes to the feeling of the story, don't say I didn't warn you. \o/
