I preferred the unused ending where he stayed with Knives.

The problem is the opposite there.

You know what happened in the comic when they finally kissed?

Yeah, I read the comic first and its a different beast entirely (Ramona being far more interesting for one). I'm just saying, I watched the DVD extras and had somewhat of an epiphany about the film when I saw Ramona walk off in the end while Scott stayed behind with Knives.
