Can I ask how the Condesce is "coded as black"? Because if it's just her quirk/speaking mannerisms I honestly think that's a bit of a stretch. She seems more like she's coded as someone on the internet trying to sound cool, who also enjoys fish puns and rap, in other words she talks like herself. And after Meenah was introduced I listened to a very good reading of her lines, by a black woman, so I do hear her that way and it's my headcanon for humanstuck, but I don't see how her character is making a statement either way about black people.
