I've never heard of any of those characters and I have no idea what fandom's reaction is to them or even if those soap operas have much of a fandom presence.

EJ/Sami is a pretty popular pairing despite it starting by him coercing her into having sex with him by threatening the life of her husband.

If your going to go down this road, get your fucking facts straight. EJ coerced Sami into sex by saying he'd only help her save an injured Lucas (who was injured when he and Sami got into a car wreck during a blizzard) if she'd sleep with him. Still creepy, still awful (and I want Sami nowhere near EJ as a result), but you make it sound like he threatened to basically kill Lucas and that wasn't exactly the exact circumstances.
