I'm getting really annoyed with all the bitching that has been going on about this episode. It doesn't help that the majority of people who are taking offense to it are also Destiel fans, so their opinion is pretty clouded in my view.

I'm so sick of tumblr fans complaining about female characters having sex. A character is not 'ruined' when she has sex. It is possible for a woman to like sex AND be a great character. I find it highly suspect that all these 'ruined' women are also the women that stand between these fans favorite slash pairing. Being chaste is perfectly fine, but that doesn't define every single woman in existence. Women like sex, too. How can they not know that when they're women themselves?

And that episode in particular, I got the feeling that this character DID enjoy doing what she did. It's just that she was judged for it, so she ran away from it and herself. I honestly don't understand why they're so ~shocked~ that Dean likes having sex with women, either. It's season nine, have they been stuck in their slash headcanon for so long that they forgot what Dean's actual character is?

What's weird is the rant on how dysfunctional the sex between Dean and the counselor was. Dysfunctional sex on Supernatural? Sam screwed a werewolf AND a demon. Dean looks tame by comparison.

To be fair, he didn't think she was a werewolf. But year, the whole Ruby thing... It wasn't even just sex! It was violent sex with blood drinking.

I forgot the blood drinking. Yeah, for a while there Ruby turned Sam into a make-shift vampire. (Sans pointy teeth) I wish they had explored that plot line before. I'd like the idea of Sam hunting Demons for their blood and then to dispose of them. Like him sneaking off to do missions because he was jonesing big time.

I am just waiting for the day their son asks how they met. OR one of his friends comes to school and is like, "I saw your mom and dad having violent, blood drinking sex on the internet."

I think while Sam was with Ruby it is safe to say he was not thinking about a future including children.

I thought it was talking about the actors?

Well, the werewolf incident was tragic, but not too dysfunctional. They thought she was cured at the time. /pointless tangent
