Yeah, I was really disappointed with happened after that (I really question Bella and Edward), but I'm glad he was initially called out on it.

And LOL, that would be a great fic idea!

Right after she finally allows her mother to die (Bella was actually captured first and thus suffered the longest) Jacob reveals that he's rigged a crapload of explosions to go off, to finish both of them off (Originally he wanted to save Bella at least, but realizes that even if she was alive at this point death would have been a mercy). He realizes she's a monster, but has had to obey her and couldn't conceive of a way to stop her because of his imprint, but realizes his brain could conceptualize and act on it if arranged it so he died at the same time.

She smiles sadly and states she'd used him to help kill them all because she'd hoped he'd eventually snap and end her own pain. Her last words are to Edwards limbless and burning corpse (he did screaming bella's name, blind but able to hear her screams) , and are simply "... and I hope we all burn forever"
