That actually makes for some fascinating fic. I don't much like Twilight, and the ENTIRE CONCEPT of imprinting quite squicks me out, especially with the whole GROWN MAN and baby thing...but I've read some really good fic that deals with the issues that arise with just being told someone is your soulmate your whole life, them hovering and assuming something is going to happen someday, and etc.
