No one should be held forever to the reproductive choices they make at sixteen. (One of several reasons people shouldn't reproduce at sixteen.)

Anyway, she didn't want kids specifically because she thought the world sucked so bad it would just be inviting suffering all around. It's not really a generalizable situation.

(And I would say that those of us who emphatically don't want children are abnormal from an evolutionary standpoint. But in an overpopulated world, we're abnormal in a good way, so screw the haters.)

I agree completely, like I said, it was just another in a long line. The biggest one was Robin from HIMYM. My name is Robin and there are many other things we have in common, but when she realized that she couldn't conceive, she suddenly changed her mind about kids and I was disappointed.

That being said, I did like the epilogue. I also liked the epilogue from HP, which is also fairly contested.
