Sometimes though one thing leads to the other. For example, "I wish I could die" or "I wish I had the balls/ovaries to kill myself" is just a few steps away from "I want to kill myself" which is just a few steps away from "I'm going to kill myself" and any of those can be a red flag.

You probably know more about this than I do, I'm only really speaking from personal experience, and yeah I get a pretty creeped out DNW vibe from the whole "violent fantasies" thing but that doesn't necessarily mean anything.

Yep! It's Vriska Serket, who lost her left arm (and eye) in an "accident" that was actually a revenge ploy by another troll; her neighbor, who is good with gadgets, made her the mechanical arm. Thanks :)
