I also work from home, and my job is part-time flex, so I can technically work whenever I want. However, I'm most useful during the day when coworkers and others within my organization are in their offices, because I can respond to their emails right away, so I tend to wake up between 8:30-9:30 so I can get online and deal with stuff as it comes in.

It's sort of unfortunate that I'm trying to schedule my job with others' office hours though, because experience has taught me that I am much happier and healthier being on a nocturnal schedule. Seriously, my anxiety disorder vanished when I got my first third shift job. Health declined terribly when I got a day job after that. Got another night job, was happy and healthy again. Then I started working days in this job and my health has been a nightmare ever since. Left to my own devices I tend to go to bed between noon-2pm and get up between 7-10, given past habits.
