Modern pop culture has a standardized conception of the "dark side" everyone supposedly has. I never had a dark side growing up, so I was always afraid I'd get one when I was grown. But now I'm at least theoretically grown, and I still don't feel like I have a dark side. It's not like I'm trying not to be angry or jealous or hateful, and I do get angry occasionally. I just don't like the idea of hurting people, no matter what they've done.

+1

I hear ya, and I think it's strange/sad that you're getting called out for NOT feeling like hurting anyone (over horrible behavior or not). And then it gets implied that you're a ticking time bomb of suppressed rage. Seriously?

Sometimes people confuse me.

It's because you're actually a decent person.

Congrats.

(this sounds sarecastic but srsly, it's in good faith - you're the kind of person who can make the right descisions)
