Earlier tonight I watched telly with my grandmother (who I live with) when a new TV series (about the gay community in Stockholm in the 80s/90s when HIV/AIDS first started appearing) came on. I wanted to see it and Gran didn't switch the channel, so we started watching it. But then there was a semi-graphic gay sex scene and I felt so awkward and had to work so hard to not burst into awkward giggling. I ended up rushing out of the living room saying I had to study instead. Guess I have to watch it online from now on! It was just so, so awkward...

So, has any awkward situations happened to you guys recently? (or not so recently even!)

Ugh. I took my mom to my favorite restaurant the other day (she's been there before and liked it), but, man, I don't know, the fish tacos we got really sucked this time. She sent hers back right away and didn't order anything else because she was kind of pissed because the waitress didn't really care and maybe I should've sent mine back too because it was just awful compared to how it normally is, it was super awkward and I didn't want to make a scene since I go there all the time, so I just gulped my margarita (which was as good as always).

D: maybe they had someone really shitty in the kitchen. Hopefully that won't happen next time. and it sucks that your server was apathetic about it. I'd have been all over that shit (speaking as someone who's been a server)

I dunno if she kept watching after I left the room, but before that, yes. I don't really have any idea what she did after, but I think she switched the channel when I left though.

Many times I have gone to see actiony 18 rated movies with my father when out of nowhere random sex scene happens. Thank you film for making this cinema trip suddenly uncomfortable.

Really late, but yup! That was the show.

I almost called the cops on this guy at work, because he kept peering in the windows and wouldn't stop pacing outside the door. Fortunately I realized he was a client's husband.

That would have been good for business...
