LOL first world problems and one of them is being impatient about seeing my secret(s) go up. I can't recall ever having one come up right on Saturday. They're always Friday.

Anyone else get that too? Does anybody know the criteria for what secrets get selected for what day? Is it determined by the day something is submitted or is it the secret's content?

I once waited until Friday to submit a secret and it was in the first batch of secrets. Don't know if that would work every time though.

I've never gotten a closer secret. The 01 several times, yes, but not that elusive closer. My superstition logic thought it was picked by having the best secret to conclude a day. Like a punchline kind of thing that flies over my head.

Pretty sure that if you label the fandom or have a secret with spoiler/trigger warnings, it's much more likely to go up on Friday. Do you do that often?

I only label fandoms if they're obscure/so old nobody remembers or the picture I use is something that makes the fandom hard to discern at a glance. Otherwise no, I don't label them at all.

Mine usually go up later in the week too, I think because I tend to label mine even if they seem obvious to me.

Mine used to always go up first, now they most often go up last, but the day I submit them hasn't changed at all o_O
