If you're bringing people together then you must have lots of friends. Which means you must be friendly. :)

That's just it. I am not friendly. I am actually shy. I just hate seeing people who are shier than me when I am parties. I see them standing in the corner, looking miserable and regretting that they came and my heart goes out to them. So, I go over and say hi, get to know them a little bit and I usually end up saying something, "You like such and such? Oh, you have to meet so and so. S/He's a die hard fan. You are going to love him/her." And then I take the once wallflower to meet the person I was talking about then introduce them to each other and then spark a starting up conversation between the two. From there, it usually plays out itself. A couple of times I've done this, it ended with two people going into a serious relationship.

And all because I hate seeing people unhappy.

That sounds pretty friendly to me. Helping someone shy open up to another person is a really nice thing to do.

I think this is really, really sweet. Also, it seems it gives you a push to talk to people when you ordinarily wouldn't which is also awesome :)
