Who is your fictional best friend?

(Anonymous) 2013-12-03 12:36 am (UTC)(link)
Do you have a favorite fictional character who you feel like is your "friend"? Probably sounds bad to anyone who doesn't think that way, but a character that you feel comfortable and happy seeing in media.

This is pretty much how I get about my favorite character from anything I read/watch and particularly enjoy, so there are too many to list. XD

It's a good feeling, and I hope I never stop getting it.

Daria. That's my comfort show and just hearing her voice makes me feel better.

I think I have a lot of things like this; I have a lot of things that I enjoy when I want a "comfort" thing.

Pride and Prejudice is probably my go-to comfort book/movie. It's the type of thing I enjoy when I'm sick and want something I know I'll enjoy time and again.

As for specific characters I want to be best friends with Kaylee from Firefly.

Right now, Alistair from Dragon Age: Origins. I just get happy when I see him, and feel as if I were to meet him we would get along great. We have the same kind of humour.

... I also have a bit of a fictional crush on him.

Leliana from Dragon Age for me. ♥ With the same sentiments of best friend/romance.

I love Alistair; I always have to romance him in DA:O because I love his character/dialogue.

Oh yes, I agree about Alistair; he's one of the most likable characters in the series. His sense of humor is adorable, his awkwardness is so endearing and he's a wonderful love interest.

I mostly feel the same way about Garrus, but Thane and Wrex would be my best bros as well.

I'm in a commited long-lasting friendship with Otacon. The dude seriously helped me when I was studying for my university entrance exams :'D (Whenever I got stuck on a math excercise, I imagined his MGS4 voice explaining the theory calmly to me... and it worked. He has the best Teacher Voice.)

I wouldn't use the "best friend" terminology, but I'm going to go with Dave Nelson from Newsradio.
