In the anime, he was injured after going after the female titan. Did it happen differently in the manga? Because he only used 3DMG once after that, in the final episode, and he was noticeably powerless in episode 22, when other people were in danger.

In the anime they had Levi injured by the female titan. But right after that he was using his 3DMG to attack the female titan again. :/

That's not right. He grabs Eren and escapes immediately after being injured. Unless you're referring to him cutting open the FT's mouth, but I'd hardly call that attacking when she was already down and out.

He's still twirling around in his gear though. Technically he couldn't do that if his leg was injured
