Nope I don't see any kind of "rapey intent" like people are talking about upthread. It literally just looks like a kid messing around.

I'm annoyed at the suggestion that you can't even have a male character be a teenage jerk doing teenage jerk stuff or being cheeky or teasing without being misconstrued as a violent sexual predator.

This looks like a teenage boy being a jerk / messing around. And trust me I know what it looks like. That was my interaction with most boys when I was a teenager.

yeah, to me that reads like a teenage boy thinking he's being super suave and awesome and impressing the girl, while meanwhile she's just standing there thinking "does this idiot really think he's cool?"
