The last one is SUPER common for white girls to get in Korea. A lot of the foreign sex workers in Korea are Russian women, so what scuzzy old guys do is come up to you and say meaningfully "Russia saram?" aka 'are you a russian person' aka 'are you a hooker'.

IT's mostly just eye-rolly but it pisses me off when drunk old guys refuse to believe me. I'M NOT RUSSIAN! NOR A PROSTITUTE! Begone, varlet!

I haven't heard about anyone getting socked over the 'russian person?' thing, mostly women who get it just roll their eyes. There don't seem to be too many fights over that kind of things, although you do hear about the occasional fight over racism, although that's often between drunk men and drunkenness is so prevalent here that pretty much anything done under the influence of alcohol gets a free pass.

There IS a thing done by dudes who work at clubs, where they'll literally drag Korean women off the street into the club and not let them leave for a while 'cause there isn't enough women there...they tend to avoid obviously foreign women 'cause we don't stand for that shit, but sometimes they'll start dragging a girl off and THEN realize she's foreign--usually when she punches him or kicks him in the balls. They tend to be "oops, my bad" about that rather than it causing an incident though, lol!

Out of curiosity, why don't Korean women react the same way? I don't know much about Korea. Is it a deeply-embedded culture thing?

Probably a culture thing, yeah. Plus they all wear sky-high heels and are as tiny as little musicbox dancers, so if they thwapped the guys it'd probably be like getting thwapped by an irate daisy.
