Yep, they did. It was pretty damn ridiculous. They also think whitewashing=any movie with white people in it, even if the story is original, because white people.

They did that a lot with Frozen - always screaming "whitewashing" when it's a story set in a Scandinavianesque country based on a Danish fairytale, there are no POC to whitewash. Sure, it's a fantasy setting and they could have been more inclusive and added some POC, but whitewashing is not the right word for that, damn it! Words have meanings!

People like this....people like this are why people don't take actual activists seriously.

I wish we could get through to them but they're always just going to scream and bitch about "oppressed people" when they get confronted. Not that some people aren't oppressed....but just.... they do it all wrong.

In fairness to them, there were a lot of (white, male, upper-class) Republicans whining about secession if Obama was re-elected.

There weren't any white mobs roaming the streets beating up/murdering PoCs, though
