I feel like they just started advertising that a couple months ago.

Maybe they'll do like the McRib, and only bring it back when worldwide pretzel prices are low enough to make it profitable.

Yep! Well, in part - it's also a really good marketing tactic - but a lot of it has to do with times when pork is really cheap.

I don't know - I'm not an econ major or anything - but I do know that pork is very volatile, and I would assume it's mostly cheaper because there's more pork available on the market - in other words, more supply. And demand could be seasonal as well, and you have the random fluctuations of the global commodities market.

If anyone actually knows anything about this I'd be glad to cede the floor.
