+1 to all of this. I don't ship it, but clearly she wanted to sleep with him and so did; there's nothing wrong with that. Sherlock's reaction infuriated me but also wasn't terribly surprising.

I would rather Joan find someone else (especially if it were another woman, though it isn't likely), but I'm not upset over it.

That is very much up for debate because I didn't see that in the first episode at all, which is why it came so very much out of the left field later.

Well okay, I'll give you that, but since she did end up sleeping with him I imagine it was what she wanted (at least at the time).
