I'm glad you had a decent day! As for Pokemon, were you on an emulator, or in a handheld console? :DDD I never had a handheld console, but rediscovered the game some weeks ago thanks to an emulation app my brother got for me. Currently trying to fill the Pokedex on Emerald Green! I totally agree with you, it's just so fun and not a skill you forget. Congrats on you badge ;D

I just picked up Pokemon X for the 3DS a week ago, after half my friends wouldn't stop talking about it, kept asking me when (not if!) I was going to get it, and which version. One of them even caught my favorite first-gen pokemon (Oddish!) about two days after release, specifically so he could give it to me with whatever moves and item I wanted when I got the game, despite my not having planned on picking it up at that point. XD I still refused to play it until after I beat a couple games I had in progress though (Dual Destinies and Ocarina of Time - both beaten this weekend), so I only got started last night.

Mmm, emulators. They do my old-school heart good. I grew up on the Atari 2600 and NES, and it's kind of difficult to revisit my old favorites on the actual consoles at this point...

Ahaha, t-the sheer peer pressure :'D But it looks like you're having fun (and have an Oddish tailored to your liking <3); and that's awesome! I wish I had money for the 3DS, Pokemon X/Y and Dual Destinies are both singing the song of my people and I'm brooooke. Despite having a job. December will be full of paying bills and buying stuff for other people, and I'm minimal wage anyway.

Emulators are the coolest! I played all my old-school childhood games that way, on MAME32. Is that program still around?
