I never saw Cinderella as a "role model". She was just too whiny and weak. But I get it I mean you couldn't just leave a household at that time because families were expected to support each other and live together.

But I would be pretty upset soon if I was the only one in the family doing the housework. The step-sisters are what I'm worried about because they're spoiled brats. So in the end it was kind of the stepmother's fault because she loved her daughters more than Cinderella.
