we don't really have any messed up traditions, but we do eat latkes on christmas day every year (we're not jews randomly celebrating christmas, we just love potatoes). and we have an unwritten rule that no one's allowed to get dressed or shower before opening presents in the morning so that we all look equally busted in any photos taken. pyjamas and bedhead only.

We do pajama pictures, but we've always had a practice of fixing our hair and, in my sister's case, applying makeup first.
