After everyone in the family has realised that Santa is just another family member dressing up, the adults don't bother anymore so the kids have started doing it instead. Last year Santa was my ten year old female cousin.

I guess this is a bit strange?

Heh, In my family we did the same, starting at age ten or so, only that the only children available would be me and my brother so I got some ten years of practice playing 'Santa' before we let the plushies be our substitute and just narrated for them... yeah
(Actually this came in handy, when I had to play Santa for school kids
