My family doesn't really have anything particularly odd, other than making my mother hoard Christmas cards instead of newspapers for four weeks.

Edit: Wait, I do have something. In lieu of writing 'Merry Christmas' on presents my father writes cryptic clues and doesn't let you open the present until it's been guessed correctly. Both me and my brother now do this to him.
