Katniss wasn't really given much description in the books aside from being olive skinned (which covers a pretty wide range of skin color so...eh) and malnourished so I didn't really notice. I guess this was one of the few roles in Hollywood that actually would have been justified in casting a dangerously skinny actress (and while certainly not large by any stretch of the imagination, JL does not look at all malnourished) but it's not like it really mattered or took me out of the movie.

Tbh none of them really look malnourished to me.

ayrt

Oh yeah, I definitely agree. They all looked at least reasonably healthy to me(if still pretty thin generally) and it's not like I expected them to put "starved half to death" on their casting call or anything. Most of them looked slightly too well put together when compared to how most of the citizens were described in the books (when I was reading, I expected people who looked like they were living in truly deplorable conditions rather than just...kind of dirty) but I didn't think it was that much of a big deal
