Oh God, the tediousness of always going to the same two restaurants for dinner and breakfast, respectively, both of which always served the same drearily limited menu, and where he always ordered the same thing. (To make matters worse, at our go-to breakfast place he would always order corned beef hash with two poached eggs (runny) and hashbrowns (underdone), and then mash it up together with glugs of ketchup so that it looked like entrails.
