Funny pet stories/pics!
This past summer some friends of a friend decided to have their engagement photos taken at the barn where I board Sharif, and they took a few in the pasture with the horses. Sharif loves people almost as much as he loves being the center of attention, so he decided that whatever was going on, he ought to be a part of it. So... Yes, he was in desperate need of a good bath, and the bride-to-be looks a bit startled, but I still smile whenever I see this pic because of how happy he looks.

(Anonymous) 2013-12-05 05:10 am (UTC)(link)Many years ago, when my dear departed Milady Blue was just a wee scrap of a semi-feral kitten, my mother awoke in the middle of the night to a strange whumping sound, like a door being slammed repeatedly. She went out into the hall and discovered that Milady had found herself a kitty carnival ride. There was a pair of pantyhose hung over a rack on the computer room door to dry, and Milady had one end of them in her teeth. She'd pull back until they pulled the door open and stretched as far as they would go, and then do a litle jump. As soon as her paws were off the floor the pantyhose would snap back and slingshot her through the air, slamming the door shut in the process. The force of the slam was enough to make it rebound before the latch caught, so she was free to keep repeating this process until Mom caught her and moved the panythose up out of her reach.
