You won't get any boos from me. That's exactly how I feel about X-Files, Joanlock and Abbie/Ichabod. I tend to agree with the OP that a lot of the time there's some underlying homophobia when people are down on m/m or f/f pairings, but there are also plenty of people who say the same damn thing about m/f pairings.

We're not just not that vocal about it because no one cares and the shippers always win.
