Or what biologists thought was wolf behaviour from studying small groups of wolves in isolated enclosures, but was utterly debunked by later studies of wolves in the wild.

So, they're not unicorns, is basically what I'm saying.

Haha.

Literally as I went to post that, I thought to myself 'is some nerd going to point out that pack behaviour more closely resembles a family than the previous enclosure based view which would be like studying human social dynamics by watching prisoners'.
