I was planning on buying this for a close family member for Christmas.

They died suddenly, but I still can't bring myself to remove the link from my bookmarks.

A similar thing happened to me, though I'd already bought the present before finding out the intended receiver had died. This was a few years ago and I definitely could have given the present away by now to someone else but I've never done it.

Sorry about your loss.

But buy the book and read it with your family member in mind.

See, my mom and her sister use to do movie nights with me. There were a certain style we'd watch when it was all three of us. Mom and I use to watch s/f when it was just us.

Well, Love Actually came out 2 years after my mom passed and about 8 years after my aunt. But every year, I try to see it around this time because it's one they would have loved. AMC will be showing it over a few days starting next week. I will be watching it.
