Maybe that's the problem. I think identifying as "feminine" or "masculine" is kind of dumb to begin with. Why not just like the things you like instead of worrying if you fit the definition of a societally molded term?

Yup. I understand why some people do it, as it can be a sort of shorthand to describe yourself to others, but to be so upset and to make it an actual identity label is dumb to me.

This so much. And then OP would spare herself all the trouble.

This, definitely.

I agree overall she's definitely internalizing something

but

I think it's condescending to tell me that it's stupid to identify as feminine or masculine. People can identify as they like so long as they're not hurting anyone. Your views are not any more valid than someone with traditional ones.

An you don't think having a breakdown in public because "OMG, how can I like something that is GIRLY?! I HATE MYSELF FOR LIKING THIS GIRLY THING!!!" can come across as hurtful to people who actually like girly things? Especially since society keeps telling us that being a girl or girly is not as good as being a man or manly?

It seems kind of like you're equating "masculine and feminine" with actual gender identity, which is stupid. If someone goes to pieces over liking something outside of whatever imaginary box they've stuck themselves in, there's something wrong with the way they're thinking.
