Seriously, tho, while I JUST got into the show because a friend of mine was flailing over the movie, what I've see of the stage production on youtube will NEVER compare. Even if he can do Crazy VERY well, Johnny will never take my breath away like that Sweeney did (I just wish I could remember freaking actor's names.) And the movie!Lovett better be funnier than the previews are leading us to believe or I'll put HER in a freaking pie. I know she wont top Potts, but JEEZ. DON'T DEAD PAN EVERYTHING.

...I hope its still funny.

George Hearn played Sweeney in the version that was filmed, Lou Cariou sings Sweeney on the soundtrack. And Angela Lansbury was Mrs. Lovett.

Seriously, get the dvd, it's awesome incarnate.
