[Picture is the actor Mads Mikkelsen playing Hannibal Lecter from the TV series "Hannibal". He is raising one blood-covered hand. I'm not sure if it's the lightning or a filter edit, or what, but there also appears to be a coat of reddish dust on his face.]

I just wish this show would hurry the fuck up and get to the "Silence of the Lambs" plotline. I just want to see if Mads Mikkelsen can pull it off.

Of course he can. People will complain that he's not doing it the way Anthony Hopkins did it, though, when he wouldn't have taken the role at all if that was what TPTB wanted.

I'm excited for a prospective Silence of the Lambs season because that means we'll have gotten a Red Dragon season, which is really what I want. But I want to see Will in a SotL season just from the description of him in the book, as being "hard to look at" after being disfigured. I want that on the show so much.

That's probably its own secret.

Totally with you on that, OP. And I do want to see the Red Dragon stuff too, basically all the canonical stuff from it and Silence of the Lambs. I can live without the stuff from the book Hannibal though.
