Not Secret: I love this album to death. It came out when I was going through a really difficult time in my life, and it just means so much to me. I don't want to say it 'saved my life', but it calmed me down before I did anything regrettable to myself.

But, I just CAN'T like "Doin' it Right". Compared to the rest of the album, I thought it was boring. When I heard it, I thought "Horizon" fit better. "Doin' It Right" just seemed to simplistic. I feel like a bad fan, because it seems like it's everyone's favourite track.

I like him but I thought this was embarrassing as hell. I don't even think he's a good dancer. Of course everyone is creaming themselves because 'OMFG I CAN'T BELIEVE HE CAN DANCE TOO HIS FLAWLESSNESS KNOWS NO BOUNDS!!11!11!!!1!!1'

Jesus Fucking Christ you can be a fan of someone without thinking they possess EVERY. SINGLE talent imaginable.

This is the only meta essay I have for any of my fandoms.

This used to be an amazing fanfiction fandom on Facebook. People from all over the world exchanging ideas and supporting each other. Now, a handful of people have caused it to completely fall apart. There is mistrust and arguments everywhere. I'm really going to miss that Facebook account.

I don't watch Hannibal at all, all I know about the show is from my tumblr dash. Not a secret.

But last night I had the weirdest dream where I was having dinner with Will and Hannibal and the whole time I knew that what we were having was human meat but I was scared so I ate anyway. Then Will said "This is really good" and Hannibal said "Thank you. They were Irish ...The people who sold me the meat, that is." It was super creepy (but it's cracking me up as I'm writing it).

Later, we were attacked by a shape-shifting alien, so Will and I hid in the bathroom, but the alien changed into a crocodile and busted the door. Luckily, Hannibal saved us and it was awesome.

I can't really tell anyone about this, but I wanted to so fandomsecret it is.

The success of this movie makes me really happy. Not because I liked it (though I did).

But because it's a kick in the face to every Tumblr Social Justice Warrior who had to loudly proclaim that they were boycotting the movie because Racism and shit.

Way to go, Tumblr. Your internet activism accomplished exactly zero.

I know it's childish, and rude, and silly, and way, way, way overdone, but I can't help it -- every time I see him, I am gobsmacked all over again at just how hideous he is in every possible way.

I just wish this show would hurry the fuck up and get to the "Silence of the Lambs" plotline. I just want to see if Mads Mikkelsen can pull it off.

I'm so tired of Superficial crossovers, gender-swapping, and School Alternate Universes in animation fandoms. They seem so devoid of creativity but people jump over each other to try to be the first to do them.

I disliked Abigail and found her storyline really dull.

I've participated in all of these sites, but what's funny is that nearly all of them target one or more of the other sites as the cesspit of the internet, full of the worst people on the web and generally just the Satan's rectum of the world. However, if confronted on their own dickery, they all get very defensive of their site, refusing to accept the shitty things they do.

As someone who likes all these sites, I wish people could admit that their preferred site isn't a shining beacon of light in a sea of shit. The whole internet is shitty as well as fun and entertaining. All of these sites are hostile places as well as fun and entertaining places. I wish more people could accept the good and the bad, rather than call themselves wonderful and accepting while taking a dump on all the other sites, when they're all just as bad as each other.

I feel like this character should annoy me, but instead I love him. (That's in a "I love seeing episodes featuring him" kind of way, not in a "I have a crush" kind of way - for clarity.)

Normally, the way he acts towards April would bother the hell out of me, I mean, it's often kind of creepy, but I don't find the character creepy at all. He's just kind of endearing. ...I feel a little guilty for letting it slide here, when normally I'd drop a character for acting like that...

Basically I feel bad for not feeling more bad. Also, I'm an adult, watching Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles should not be the highlight of my week at this point... what the fuck.

(My favorite character in the '80's was Raph... ...maybe I just really like Rob Paulsen.)
