HAHAHAHA. No they don't show up in the movie. They were just lazy and refused the character models.

actually they do. it was confirmed by Tangled's director after he asked. they're briefly in the clip where the gates open during For the First Time In Forever and Anna is dashing out.

I call bullshit. It's just an excuse for the fact they reused the character models.

You can keep saying that if you want, but unless you have proof, I see no reason why anyone should take you seriously.

Disney movies have a long history of including brief cameos of characters from their other movies, so it was definitely meant to be Rapunzel. It's an easter egg for sharp-eyed viewers, like Belle's cameo in Hunchback of Notre Dame, or the magic carpet from Aladdin appearing in Princess and the Frog (0:17). Call bullshit all you like, but you'll still be wrong.

You do realize that Disney likes little cameos like that right?

They do it all the time. And it's not something they took from Pixar. This shit goes way back.

This ones a bit hard, but Pumba is on a stick in the Bottom Center. To the Right is Alladin's magic carpet in a mans hands, and below that a certain bookworm who's apparently gotten to travel a bit out of her smaller french town to gay Paris.

I honestly figured that the timeline went Hunchback -> BatB, with Belle and her father moving out of Paris because of/before the fires, and to the small town that she's in in the beginning of her movie.

I think mine is funnier.

But yours is more realistic.

Haha, wow, I had no idea Disney was so into cameos. Considering I watched their movies until the VHS tapes unraveled, I wonder how much more obsessive the fans who noticed this stuff must have been.

The point is that the twisted cameo in Frozen is part of a tradition, not lazy re-use as the likely troll tried to insinuate.

Nah, I've been proven wrong and I can admit it. I seriously thought they were being lazy after all their animating women is haaaard whining. But if it's a legit cameo, then cool.

There's also a cameo of Scar in "Hercules" and a figurine of The Beast in "Aladdin".

Scar shows up in Hercules too. Dead Scar.

This...really helps me theory that the trip the Queen and King took (to unfortunate consequences) was due to visiting Rapunzel's parents, and they're relatives in some way.
