Olaf is actually really charming and he has a part to play in the final act, so he's not just there for comedic effects, and when he is it's tasteful

He's not as annoying as the commercials would have you believe.

I actually thought he was really cute, and his backstory was really cute too (I can spoil it for you if you want?) Plus his song doesn't suck (and it's sung by one of the guys in "The Book of Mormon" which was a bonus for me.)
