I stopped watching somewhere in season 6. There's just so many times people die/come back/go to hell/go through the worst pain imaginable for me to be unable to relate to them or care.

Sadly this. I really, really loved the first few seasons and then it just went into a nose-dive, and not even the kind of nose-dive I can still enjoy.

I'm currently watching through it for the first time, and I'm up to Season 5. I don't know what else they'll have to write about after the whole "Apocalypse" thing.

I sorta feel sorry for fans who got so invested in it.
