don't like don't read?

One is allowed to not liking something, and overexposure only makes those feelings more pronounced.

And I have to agree, this sort of crossover has gotten just way to pervasive, at least on tumblr, and tumblr savior is of no help cause people don't always tag.

So yes, if you are constantly exposed to something you don't like, you are allowed to feel vexed by it; and coming to share it on FS! to blow steam should not be disparaged.

I wasn't intending to sound disparaging. It's just always weird to me that people get so upset by the mere existence of fic that they can avoid.

I hardly ever spend time on tumblr, so that is a different perspective.

OP

I don't even read fic. It's all over deviantart. I report all these shitty edits as much as possible but I think they pop up faster than I report them. With Frozen out people are now pulling them into that mess. I didn't even like Brave and only marginally liked Dragons and Guardians.

I just want to be able to google Rapunzel or Frozen in peace.

Also just being a butt here: The Genderswaps annoy me because they're 100% terrible most of the time. Oh Good you've cut their boobs and hair off/added boobs and hair. How creative. No attempt at character design at all huh? Yeah didn't think so.

reporting smth just because you don't like it is an assholish thing to do. You'll probably ignore it, but had to tell it...

I don't know about OP, but I often find my tumblr dashboard filled with gifsets and whatnot featuring THE BIG 4. Untagged, obviously. Kinda hard to weed it all out when you think you've unfollowed the last of the culprits and someone else just goes on a reblogging binge and you didn't expect it of them.

I agree that people who don't tag are super annoying :|

install xkit and up them on the blacklist. Xkit's blacklist goes off all text in the post not just the tags.

I have xkit (and i love it) but it still doesn't help if people reblog tons of fanart and gifsets without text besides "WHERES THE FIC","LMAO" or "omg i love it". Then I usually go and unfollow people because if you can't be assed to tag, i can't be assed to put up with it.

(Anonymous) 2013-12-10 03:44 pm (UTC)(link)
i would normally say the same but it is frustrating in this case, for me, because not only is the crossover fandom incredibly popular but it's leaking into the actual secular fandoms themselves so if you like, say, tangled, you can't get away from rapunzel and jack smooching

What defines a "secular fandom"? I've never heard that term before.

I guess it's easy to forget how obnoxious people on tumblr are about not tagging, since I don't spend much time there. (When I do, though, I tag my shit.) I shouldn't have responded to the secret the way I did.

And now Elsa and Jack. Which I guess is slightly better than Elsa/Anna but still obnoxious.
