Re: Fanmixes

I love making fanmixes, personally. It's basically I try to come up with a theme/story and come up with songs that fit it. I order the songs very deliberately, to fit this (even if it only makes sense to me!). I like when I can get lyrics that fit the characters JUST right.

Most of my fanmixes are Jpop-oriented (so only I care, really) but I've made some that aren't. Probably the best one I made was for Marvel fandom, and it was Darcy/Steve. I found songs that might have fit their particular ship (which is completely made up in fandom, mind you) and, since Steve is in the 40s, had it be a mix of current music AND older music, to try and do some things that would fit their mix of personalities (as described by the fandom). As a big music lover, thinking about all of this is really fun for me, so I put it up with a quickly made cover and put it on Tumblr. :)
